Inspired by arched doorways and alcoves within interior architecture, the Patience bench plays with the relationship between soft curves and straight edges. A bevelled platform gives the bench an intentional comfort whilst retaining its purpose as a seat first and foremost. Dowel pillars form the support aspect propping up the bench providing stability whilst softening it’s feel.
A spot to kick off your shoes, ponder and take in your surroundings. The Patience bench serves as a reminder to press pause for a second, take a breath, remember from where you have come, what you have achieved where you are going. Patience is the virtue that has got you this far and will continue to serve you.
